GE has launched the Senographe DS Digital Mammography System, which combines screening, diagnostic, and interventional capabilities into a single system. The system employs the same flat panel detector as the 2000D, but with a smaller tube that provides stereotactic capabilities. The Senographe DS was built with input from healthcare professionals and patients all over the world, and it sets new standards for ease of use, patient comfort, image quality, versatility, digital workflow integration, and investment security. The technology simplifies clinical tests, enabling technicians to focus on the patient, and has an easy-to-use interface. It also has one-touch motorised positioning for cranio-caudal and oblique views, two drive speeds for height and rotation, and AutoCell and AOP for better imaging parameters. Patients have a less stressful mammography experience with the Senographe DS,  with a thin tube head, ergonomic paddle, and exclusive handles for easy positioning.
